CRIZMAC, in collaboration with the Cemanahuac Educational Community in Cuernavaca, Mexico, is proud to offer one outstanding art teacher a scholarship for two weeks of intensive Spanish language study during the summer.

The Spanish Language Scholarship includes:
• Registration fees
• Tuition for two weeks at the Cemanahuac Educational Community
• Housing (double occupancy) with a host family
• Three meals a day
• One art related field trip

Recipient may select dates of participation anytime between June 1 and August 30. In addition to airfare, the scholarship recipient will be responsible for bus transportation to Cuernavaca from Mexico City (a distance of two hours at a cost of about $15 US each way), a textbook ($35), and any personal expenses.

Qualifications
To qualify for consideration an eligible candidate must:
• Currently serve as an art educator in a public or private institution
• Be an American citizen whose first language is not Spanish
• Demonstrate some basic knowledge of the Spanish language
• Complete a scholarship application
• Provide a recent resume
• Articulate his/her professional goals in a one to two page personal statement of interest

Instructions
Complete the Scholarship Application Form and mail it with your written personal statement of interest and a current resume to CRIZMAC, Summer Scholarship, PO Box 65928, Tucson, AZ 85728-5928.

All documents must be received by CRIZMAC on or before March 30 for the following summer. Only completed applications will be processed and considered during the selection process.

The scholarship will be awarded and a recipient contacted April 15.
