Travel Program: Journeys of Art and Soul
Journeys
of Art and Soul
CRIZMAC has provided unique travel seminars for educators
and art enthusiasts for many years. Join us for one of our Journeys
of Art and Soul and benefit from an in-depth experience with
art, culture, and tradition. Artist demonstrations, hands-on activities,
museum visits, lectures, and group activities will prepare you to
implement comprehensive multicultural lessons. Network with teachers
and artists from around the world. Our tours are lead by experienced
travel professionals, including CRIZMAC President Stevie Mack and
Vice President Kitty Williams. Participants earn professional development
credit; graduate credit is also available through the University
of Arizona.

CRIZMAC represents a variety of talented artists
and educators who are able to travel to your location and offer
programming for faculty, students, and the general public. Enjoy
the benefits of a professional development seminar designed especially
for your school, district, museum, or organization. As the result
of attending a CRIZMAC seminar, you can expect to receive excellent
educational programming and experience personal and creative rejuvenation.

and Awards
At CRIZMAC, we know that teachers must nurture their
own intellectual talents as well as those of their students. We
are please to offer a yearly scholarship to an art teacher for two
weeks of Spanish language study in Cuernavaca, Mexico.
CRIZMAC also recognizes outstanding student teachers atending the
Univerity of Arizona in the College of Fine Arts and the College
of Education with an award and gift certificate.
Additional Professional Development
Opportunities
CRIZMAC offers a fascinating variety of classes,
hands-on workshops, day tours, and lectures in the Tucson area,
often in collaboration with Pima Community College, The Learning
Curve, Western National Parks Association and other organizations.
CRIZMAC's free lecture series, ARTiculations, is generally offered
on the second Tuesday of the month from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
and again from 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Certificates for professional
development credit are available for educators who attend these
