Kitty Williams

The Art and Soul blog is primarily authored by  CRIZMAC’s vice president, Kitty Williams. No one, least of all Kitty, is quite sure what all she does at CRIZMAC, but she’s always very busy (very, very busy, to hear her tell it). And anytime there’s travel involved, it’s a pretty sure bet that will find its way into Kitty’s job description.

Prior to joining CRIZMAC, Kitty spent time living and working (but often playing) in Mexico. A contributor to several books (including Mexico’s Copper Canyon), Kitty also authored articles that appeared in Summit, Ultrarunning and Native Peoples, among others. Her work with the Tarahumara people in Mexico’s Copper Canyon was featured in People Magazine and Runner’s World and was filmed by Discovery Channel, NBC, and ABC’s Prime Time Live. While most of what she (thinks she) knows was acquired through the school of hard knocks, Kitty holds an M.A. in Higher Education, with a focus on international and experiential education, from the University of Arizona.
