Welcome to our site. Founded in 1985, CRIZMAC Art
& Cultural Education Materials, Inc. began as a publishing company
dedicated to the creation of art and cultural curriculum resources
for schools and institutions. As the years progressed, we developed
a catalog, expanded into the world of folk art, and continued to
add new products, including children’s literature, music,
and resources for teachers and art lovers. In 2000 we opened our
retail store, The CRIZMAC Markeplace, which offered an
enticing selection of folk art, books, music, jewelry and gifts
items. Lectures, classes, and gallery
shows were held at The Marketplace.
years of experience in the arts, we are still actively engaged in
the profession. Our travel program, Journeys of Art and Soul offers
yearly trips for the general public and educators. In 2011 our first
book, Day of the Dead, was published by Gibbs Smith. Due to a very
enthusiastic response to the book, our 2nd title, Day of the Dead
Folk Art, was released in 2015. We are available to give lectures,
teach classes and offer book signings in collaboration with local
organizations and professional groups.
