About Our Travel Program
CRIZMAC
has a long and proud history of offering unique educational tours
for the discriminating traveler. Over 20 years ago, we began with
tours that focused on Native American art and culture. The program
expanded to include international destinations, with a focus on
the folk arts of the region. These art
and cultural tours formed the basis for our popular Journeys
of Art and Soul travel program. In 2004, we met Dr. Bill Fry,
a fabulous literature professor, and added an art
and literature component to Journeys of Art and Soul.
Most recently, we began Rock
On! Tours, geared specifically for rock and mineral enthusiasts,
to our repertoire. We are also happy to work with your group or
organization to design a tour to meet your specific needs and areas
of interest.
Regardless of the tour you choose, you can be assured of a well-organized,
high quality experience, led by knowledgeable and personable guides.
As an indication of the depth of the experience we provide, our
travelers are eligible for graduate credit for their participation.
In addition, educators receive certificates for professional development
credit.

“The
leaders were great. I don’t think any more could have been
packed into the trip. An individual on his own couldn’t have
done or seen as much as we did.”

“I
can’t thank you enough for bringing the beauty of New Mexico
alive in such an exciting, fun, and inspirational way. The memories

will be eagerly passed on to my students.”
