About Our Travel Program

Welcome to the CRIZMAC Marketplace and Gallery, a unique retail shop that features local artists and artists from around the world. It offers a selection of Oaxacan woodcarvings, Mata Ortiz pottery, global folk art, jewelry, scarves, purses, children’s books, art books for adults and gift items. Many items are one-of-kind. The CRIZMAC Gallery is available for exhibitions and as a rental space for classes, meetings, and events. CRIZMAC offers art and cultural trips for the general public and teachers. Yearly trips are offered to Santa Fe, New Mexico. An annual trip to Oaxaca, Mexico for Days of the Dead occurs in November. CRIZMAC also offers comprehensive global art education curriculum including lessons about Haiti, Puerto Rico, the Amazon, Mexico, and Days of the Dead. CRIZMAC also offers books, games and folk art for teachers. The folk art is from Mexico, Cambodia, Peru, Africa, and Indonesia. The art lessons are also suitable for social studies, craft, and world history classes. Hands-on art activities are included.
